Amount to give:

For horses grazing in sandy areas: Give 4 ounces daily for 7 consecutive days. Repeat this 7 day cycle once per month, if necessary. As a daily supplement, give 2 ounces daily.

This is a high quality product, palatable without excessive sugar or starch. I feed it monthly to my insulin resistant horses with no problem.

I am impressed with the Sup-er Psyllium. Firstly, it is very palatable...he loves it and it is safe for my IR horse (has safe levels of sugar and starch). My gelding had fecal water syndrome. It was very successful in alleviating this problem with a 2-week double dose course 2 months in a row. Other supplements were not helpful.
