I purchased this product because I learned that if you have a warm dry start to the hay season, that hay is most likely lacking in the Lysine and L-Glutamine that are necessary in the daily diet of horses. The symptoms of these deficiencies are dull dry coat and itchy skin which is what I was dealing with on both of my performance horses. I have two aged geldings with issues. One has Temporohyoid Osteoarthropathy (THO) and suffered through days of grand mal seizures. His lingering symptom is the loss of feeling in half of his muzzle making chewing very difficult. He was emaciated with a very dull coat.
